He was predeceased by: his wife Edilia G. Vega; his parents, Fortunato Vega and Antonia C. Vega; and his siblings, Samuel, Joe Gutierrez, Lorena Reade and Catalina Valenzuela.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Vega, Anthony Vega (Sharon), Carlos Vega, Frank Vega (Debbie), Vivian Rivera (Lorenzo), Damien Vega, Eugene Vega (Lupita), Monica Minjarez (Joseph Jajack) and Vikki Cervantes (Roberto). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 24 greatgrandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to his church, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 2121 S. Rural Rd. Tempe, AZ 85282.
