He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mavis Ingrid Holmes (Vaughn); his granddaughter Ijhanne; his daughter Bahiyyih Malo (James); his parent Rhoda Weissman Born August; his brothers, William Vaughn (Chesarena) and Peter Vaughn (Christine); his father-in-law Mark Holmes; his parent Vivian Holmes (Womack); and his siblings-in-law, Markette Hatch (Colin), Varonica Turner, Mark Holmes (Linda), Bailene Buckner (Otis), Granotta Holmes and Ronda Campbell (Ron). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ceremony and interment were not held due to Covid 19 guidelines/restrictions.
Family requests donations in his memory be made to Baha'i Universal House of Justice, Cobb County assembly in Atlanta, Georgia.
