It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laina Koljonen (Queen Creek, Arizona), born in Crystal Falls, Michigan, who passed away on July 7, 2018, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Aarne W. Koljonen; her brother Paul Thompson; and her children, Linnea Giancola and John Koljonen. She is survived by: her daughters, Maila Walter of Playa Vista and Vendla Weber; her son-in-law David; and also, Alexis Roth, Elizabeth Wambugu and HomeCare. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 nieces.
