She was predeceased by: her parents, Violet E. (Niere) and Paul R. Carlton Sr.; her sister Sally (Moran-Krantz); her brother-in-law Robert Moran; her nephew Robert; and her niece Amber.

She is survived by: her children, John Bryant (Kate) of Queen Creek, AZ and Nancy Moser (James) of Dumfries, VA; her grandchildren, Brittany (Jared), Kathryn (Scott), Alec and Michael; her great grandchildren, Owen, Aubree and Alyvia; her siblings, Paul Carlton (Elaine) and Linda Arnold (Marvin); and her brother-in-law Richard Krantz.
