He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carlos Vega and Juana Rodarte; his wife Angie Gonzales; and his children, Rebecca Vega Guerra, Kathryn Vega Harrigian, Ernest Vega and Edward Vega. He was also cherished by his eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
