He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Ellis Wells and Gertrude Leota Talley Wells; his former wife Carolyn Vivian Hitchcock; his wife Marilynn Chory (Lynn); his daughters, Trudi Farschman, Donna Petersen and Jennifer Komatsu; and his siblings, Gwen Carty, John Wells and Sidney Wells. He was also cherished by three grandchildren, one great granddaughter.
