With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis Joseph Hern (Queen Creek, Arizona), born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on May 15, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol; and his daughters, Melanie Denise Hern and Amy Carolyn Hern.
He talked to everyone." Carol explained. Passionate for his Scottish ancestry and heritage, the symphony, his dogs, historical gun collector and most of all helping and loving others, Dennis Joseph Hern kindly touched so many lives. "He was one of those people you immediately loved and felt loved by," said his new daughter in law Gina Hawthorn. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Saving Grace Lutheran Church, 24414 S. Ellsworth Rd. in Queen Creek. Family will greet friends for a visitation at 10:00am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00am. Burial will follow at San Tan Memorial Gardens at Schnepf Farms, 22425 E. Cloud Rd. in Queen Creek. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saving Grace Lutheran Church Building Fund, 24414 S. Ellsworth Rd, Queen Creek, AZ 85142.
