He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Benson and Ethel Benson; his brother Don; his cousin Darrel; his uncle Harry; his friend Alan Bingham; his wife Myrna; his daughters, Debbie and Deanna; his sons-in-law, Mark and George; and his grandchildren, Alec, Cameron, Aidan and Kira. He was also cherished by his grandfather for him, his sister, Elaine, and a cluster of cousins.

Lloyd loved meeting YEI families and was immensely proud that no donations were used to administer Prescott Charities.
