It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Roy Mahaffey (Prescott, Arizona), who passed away on February 27, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cleveland Mahaffey and Alma Pearl Mahaffey (Mitchell); his wife Marilyn; his daughters, Charlene Welch (Brian) of Centennial and Lynn Bieniek (Gene) of Gilbert, Arizona; and his grandchildren, Trevor Welch (Audrey) of Chicago, Illinois and Victoria Bieniek Eastburn (Nathan) of Tucson, Arizona. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
He will be greatly missed by all.John will be buried at Arizona Veterans' Memorial Cemetery Camp Navajo in Bellemont, Arizona with full military honors.In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the Salvation Army, Prescott, AZ.
