She was predeceased by: her parents, Constantine Kawka and Harriet Kawka (Melvin Hodges); and her grandson Jeffrey Hodges. She is survived by: her children, Debra Weir (Bob), Donald Hodges (CJ), Richard Hodges, James Hodges (Sonia Cervantes) and Mary Ann Gribbin (Todd); her grandchildren, Jonathon, Brandon, Sarah, Scott, Christopher, Alex, David and Bethanie; her great grandchildren, Rebekah, Sierra, Robbie, Amelia, Noah and Kira; and her siblings, Bernette Palicka and Thomas Kawka (Bernadette). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers those who desire may make a memorial donation to the Alzheimer's Association in the memory of Joan.
