We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2019, at the age of 77, George C Buchanan (Prescott, Arizona), born in White Plains, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julia M. and George A. Buchanan. He is survived by: his wife Sheila M. Buchanan; his brother James "Jim" Buchanan (Barb); and his children, Teri Ann Hanisch (Paul) of Phoenix, George Buchanan (IIyse) of Tucson, Amanda Buchanan of Prescott and Garret Buchanan (Nakita) of Chandler. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers please send donations to Yavapai County Sheriff's Office Youth Fund, a program started by Sheriff Buck Buchanan, in which he would name a graduating senior who showed exceptional character and community involvement.
