He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke Baker and Mary Baker; his stepfather Elmer Coffman; his son Mike; and his brothers, Ron Baker and Ed Coffman.

He is survived by: his spouse Kayanne Schmitt; his daughter Christy Gilroy; his stepdaughters, Lisa Nilsson (Kirt) and Laura Willems; his siblings, Carolyn Loan and Jesse Coffman; and his grandchildren, Colin, Olivia, McKenna and Klein. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.

He died on April 1st in Prescott, Arizona, succumbing to Alzheimer's.
