She was predeceased by: her parents, Dottie B. Schaeffer (Zimmer) and Clarence E. Schaeffer; her husband Robert L. Christman, Jr.; and her son Robert L. Christman. She is survived by: her daughter Christine Hammer-Epps (Edmund).
