He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Steele and Helene Steele (Anderson); and his wife Karen Steele. He is survived by: his siblings, Eugene Steele and Susan Markley; his daughters, Dawn Alford (Rick) and Amber Cates-Anderson (Benjay); and his grandchildren, Nathaniel Cates, Tyler Anderson, Raylei Anderson, Melissa Jahn (Richard) and Richard "Richie" Alford (Ashley). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Craig's memory to Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
