He is survived by: his parents, Antonio Gamez and Teresa Gamez; his siblings, Arturo Gamez, Ricardo Gamez, Beatriz Gamez (Enrique Espinoza), Yolanda Gamez and Rosalba Garcia Zulema (Roger Garcia Sr); his sons, Antonio Gamez III, Armando Gamez, Brayan Gamez, Juan Carlos Gamez and Jose Mendoza; and his grandchildren, Yumalay Gamez, Angelique Gamez and Niko Tapija. He is also survived by cousins, lots of nieces and nephews.
