She was predeceased by: her father Julius Armstrong; her daughter Wyleen "Lynn" Tointigh; her mother Annie Declay Armstrong; her brother Billy Joe Armstrong; and her great grandchild Kimitrius Gatewood.

She is survived by: her husband Jimmie Tointigh Sr.; and her children, Olivia Tointigh, Warren Tointigh, Jimmie Tointigh Jr. and Henry Tointigh. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
