He is survived by: his children, Dana (Dale) and Duane; his grandchildren, Cassie Petriekis (Greg), Danielle Mesri (David) and Josh Cavan; his great grandchildren, Jameson Petriekis, Lawson Petriekis, Walker Petriekis and Jack Mesri; and his siblings, Bernard Gommeringer, Joan Arychuk, Tilda Dafoe and Rose Marie Jordan. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
