She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose V. Torrez and Sara Torrez (Jasso); her husband Jose Francisco Mendez; and her siblings, Frank, Epimenio, Pascual, Paul, Mike Torrez, Jessie Rodriguez, Isabel Kelly, Nellie Trujillo and Lupe Torrez.
She is survived by: her children, Ralph Mendez (Angie) of Surprise and Elva Dominguez (Jose Luis Dominguez) of Dodge City; her grandchildren, Terrance, Joshua Mendez of Surprise, Anthony and Alondra Dominguez of Dodge City; and her sisters, Carol Torrez, Eleanor Lacer, Josephine Moreno, Margaret Torrez and Delores Torrez. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe in care of the funeral home.
