He was predeceased by: his brothers, Armando and Tony; and his grandparents, George, Rosa Randle and Rudy.

He is survived by: his wife Kathlina; his siblings, Abel (Bertha), Ruben, Moises (Priscilla), Sandra and Rosalinda Carabajal; his mother Rose Carabajal; and his nephew Ruben Carabajal Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
