He is survived by: his grandchildren, Mary and Venessa Banuelos; his siblings, Rosie Banuelos Reyes, Bertha Banuelos Mejia, Dora Banuelos Lopez, Lisa Banuelos Cota, David Cruz Banuelos, Johnny Cruz Banuelos and Joe Cruz Banuelos; his wife Juanita Banuelos; and also, Jeremy, Frankie and Priscilla Jaramillo. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Banuelos Jr., whose passing during the COVID-19 pandemic was a profound loss for him.
