He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Steinle and Hilda Steinle; and his brother Roger. He is survived by: his former wife Janice Anderson; his wife Barb Hauge; his children, Kirk Steinle (Maryann), Kari Turner and Susan Wegner (Dave); his siblings, Jeff Steinle (Joyce) and Pam Oberg (Skip); his stepsons, Darren Murray (Kelly) and Mike Murray (Sherry); his grandchildren, Bridgette Bumann (Justin), Ben Steinle, Josh Steinle, Sydney Turner, Ryan Turner, Kim Davidson, Matthew Wegner, Tim Wegner and Joe Wegner; his great grandchild Xander Bumann; his stepgrandchildren, Bri Murray, Bryce Murray and Morgan Lang; and his pets, Sammy and Scooter.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the American Diabetes Association.
