She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendell Kinney and Sylvia Lewis Kinney. She is survived by: her husband John C. Hughes; her children, Nan Hughes, Wendy Pitha (Nick), John Hughes (Leslie), Michael Hughes (Alison Marshall) and Betsy Baker (Tom); her grandchildren, Mary Cordon (Dave), Wendy Gontram (Matt), Emily Pitha, Nicholas Pitha (Colleen), Carey Hughes (Elena), Chrisman Hughes, Clara Baker and Kinney Baker; her great grandchildren, McAllister Cordon, Scout Gontram and Eva Hughes; her son Marco MacBeth; and her sister Sally Wenzlau of San Marino.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral (100 W Roosevelt St, Phoenix, AZ 85003).
