Maxine Carstedt Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2023, at the age of 77, Maxine Carstedt of Phoenix, Arizona passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maxine Carstedt to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell McKibben and Doris McKibben (Stewart); and her brothers, Donald and Paul. She is survived by: her former husband John Carstedt; her daughters, Nicola Pribyl (William) of Highmore, SD and Jennifer Carstedt of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchildren, Michael Schaefer (Mimi) of Luling, TX, Nicholas Schaefer (Valerie) of Helotos, TX and Kaytlyn Kindle (Carter) of Miller, SD; her sisters, Phyllis Johnson of Baxter, IA and Marjorie Johnston (Jerry) of Conrad, IA; and her sister-in-law Susan McKibben of Saginaw, MI. She is also survived by two nieces, and eight nephews.

After college, Maxine worked at the Carle Foundation Hospital for a short time.
