He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth "Betty" Bodde. He is survived by: his father Bernard Bodde; his siblings, Susan, Michael and Margaret Bodde; his nieces and nephews, Marisa Martinez, Milo Bodde, Anna and John Fleming; and his siblings-in-law, Don Fleming and Lori Piastuch.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark's honor can be considered to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) or Best Friends.
