He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Carl, Wilma Collins, Margaret Ford, William and Clara Vavak; and his grandfather William Deakins.

He is survived by: his parents, Ken Collins and Paula Collins; his sibling Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia; his wife Eden Gateretse; his mother-in-law Stacey Adams; and his grandparents, Bill, Maryann Collins, Pauline Deakins, Dennis and Vivian Adams. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
