With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jesse Rey Cardenas in Phoenix, Arizona, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2025 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymundo Cardenas and Martina Alcocer. He is survived by: his daughters, Magda Lina Villegas (Kryc), Araceli Soto (Anthony) and Sonia Cardenas; his great grandchildren, Ricky Rey Villegas, Jesse Alejandro Villegas, Felicity Monet Villegas, Krycta Lina Villegas, Francisco Antonio Soto Jr., Joseph Jonathon Soto, Michael Christopher Cardenas and Ulysses "Bubba" Villegas; and his siblings, Manuel Perez and Guadalupe Cardenas. He is also survived by his daughters, grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Martinez Funeral Chapels - Tucson (2580 S 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713). A rosary was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (3015 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705).
