She was predeceased by: her husband William "Tommy" Mashburn; her parents, Bonner Bruce and Macie Bruce; her siblings, Harriet Cassidy, Betty Cooper, William "Bill" Bruce, Richard "Gene" Bruce and Bonner "Bud" Bruce; and her daughter Teresa Staggs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ellen Honeybuss of Roanoke, Virginia and Sue Medaglia of Avondale, Arizona. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
