He was predeceased by: his parents, Julia Smith and Dr. Arthur Smith. He is survived by: his wife Lavon; his brothers, Joe, Tom, Chuggy, Steve and Jim; his friend Bill W.; his sons, Mark, Timothy (Lori) and Patrick (June); his grandsons, Thomas, Matthew, Jack, Danny, Ryan, Kyle and Connor; his brother John (Riva); and his sisters-in-law, Leah Smith and Dolores Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Messinger Indian School Mortuary (7601 E Indian School Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at 3801 N Miller Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the St. Francis Catholic Cemetery (2033 N 48th St, Phoenix, AZ 85008).
In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Vincent DePaul, Phoenix, are suggested.
