He is survived by: his wife Sandra "Sandy" Rhodes; his children, Hilary Bailey (James) of Salisbury and John Rhodes (Danielle) of Camden; his grandchildren, Peyton, Carter, Ashley and Cora; his brother John Rhodes (Julie) of Rohrersville; his nephew Edward; his sister-in-law Pamela Crews Jordan (Ronnie) of Ashland; his nephew Andy; his niece Amanda; his sister Mary Alice; his nephew Geoffrey; and also, David and Chuck Rhodes. He is also survived by his family, friends.
In 2020, at the start of the pandemic, Hank was diagnosed with cancer, but through resilience and determination, he overcame the disease and continued his daily three-mile walks at Brecknock Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Hank's name to The Presbyterian Church of Dover or to the Wounded Warrior Project, both organizations close to his heart.
