Eugene Rolfes Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene Rolfes of Phoenix, Arizona, born in Akron, Iowa, who passed away on November 10, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Rolfes and Ida Rolfes (Dreckman). He is survived by: his wife Bernie; his children, Todd of Altoona, IA, Greg (Robyn) of Glendale, AZ, Jeanne (Dave Myers) of Green Bay, WI and Mary Beth (Mike James) of Phoenix, AZ; and his siblings, Stanley, Paula, Clarice and Pat. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Rosary and Knights of Columbus (32648 N Cave Creek Rd, Cave Creek, AZ 85331). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (3801 E Greenway Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85032). A committal service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Cemetery Committal Service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Joan of Arc Parish or the Knights of Columbus Council 14357 in Gene's memory.
