Washington, MD, Felicia Dews of Upper Marlboro, MD, LaKeshia Haskins of Appomattox, VA, Simone, Kaneesha Dews of Appomattox, VA, Chelsea Dews of Lynchburg, VA and Dominique Dews of Phenix, VA; his nephew David Dews, Jr. of Hampton, VA; his aunts, Ruth Ann Haskins of Hampton, VA and Ella Megginson of Appomattox, VA; his uncle Ryland Davis of Appomattox, VA; his sisters-in-law, Edna Dews of Appomattox, VA, Veronica Dews (Denise) of Phenix, VA and Vernelle Dews; and his close friends, Tracey Rankins of Phoenix, AZ and Michael Dennis of Lynchburg, VA.. He is also survived by two grand-nephews; five grand-nieces; and a host of extended family.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (1303 Mt Zion Rd, Red House, VA 23963). A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery (1303 Mt Zion Rd, Red House, VA 23963).
