She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Beatson and Rose Mary McHugh; her former husband Michael Popik; her daughter Kristin Burns (Mike); and her siblings, Jack Beatson, Rosemary B. Peterson and Richard Beatson.
She is survived by: her husband Hugh McGuckin; and her children, Jane Rehme, Marcia Mikolajczak (Casimir), Tom Popik, Laura Karchere (Peter) and Nancy Briggs (Douglas). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren, as well as six stepchildren and 12 step grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Hansen Mortuary Chapel (8314 N 7th St, Phoenix, AZ 85020). A rosary was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Most Holy Trinity Church (8620 N 7th St, Phoenix, AZ 85020). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (9925 W Thomas Rd, Avondale, AZ 85392).
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Most Holy Trinity Parish.
