He is survived by: his wife Joan Marie Dugan; his children, David McGovern, Paul McGovern, Michelle Anderson (Mike), Debra Stone (Dave), Denise Smith (Dave), Lori Wagner (Patrick) and Lynn McGovern (Bob Vaswani); his grandchildren, Crystal, Michelle, Ronald, Kelly, Ian, David, Aaron, Ezra, Cody, Shannon, Seth and Kallina; and his sister Mary Araujo (McGovern). He is also survived by his wife, children, remaining grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association in his memory.
