He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Purcell and Claude Purcell; his former wife Janet Purcell; and his daughter Patty Purcell. He is survived by: his wife Dona; his sons, Mike and Mark (Phoenix); and his grandchildren, Ryan of Syracuse, NY, Rachel of Newport Beach, CA, Heather of Fishkill, NY, Thomas and Julia (Dallas).

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary and Cemetery (6500 E Bell Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85254).
