He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nathan Roy McGowan and Goldie Lee Lowe McGowan; his wife Jane Doherty; his sister Frances McGowan Wise (Hugh) of Charlotte, NC.; his niece Starlene McGowan Martin (Kerry) of Clarksville; his brother Austin (Willie Mai); and his great grandchild Amanda Danielle McGowan. He was also cherished by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
