She was predeceased by: her son Aric Friesen; and her parents, Robert Burbank (Carey) and Jeanne Burbank. She is survived by: her husband Oris Friesen; her daughter Isabelle Friesen-Sloan; her daughter-in-law Amy Friesen; and her grandchildren, Cynthia Sloan, Jennifer Sloan, Anastasia Friesen and Alexander Friesen.
