It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Jean Martin (Phoenix, Arizona), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on March 14, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Humphrey Thomas and Lillie Thomas (Rogers); and her siblings, Harry Rankin, Clifford Rankin, Humphrey Thomas Jr., Fern Allen, Alvergia Cox, Naomi Blood and Arlene Thomas.

She is survived by: her children, David Bradish of Des Moines, IA, Richard Moore (Melonie) of St Paul, MN, Janiece Seager (Fred) of Phoenix, AZ, Gary Moore (Lana), Terri Woods and Jerry Moore (Amy) of Des Moines, IA. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Betty spent a number of years assisting her dear friend, Beryl Meritt, with her donation and renovation of the Meritt Farm exhibit at the Pioneer Living History Village here in Phoenix.
