With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Benny Goodman (Phoenix, Arizona), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Goodman and Lahoma Goodman; his siblings, Johnnie, Glen, Leslie and Eva (Shumway); his son Leslie John; his grandsons, Benny Ray Moore and Christopher John Goodman; and his great grandchild Nicholas Garland Whitmer.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ann Gardner; his siblings, Betty Hatch and Jerry; and his children, Alvin, Cindy Goslin (Harry), Nancy Moore (Michael), Tom (Tanya), Conny Lindeman (Richard), Tammy Mobley (Richard) and Patty Clark (Ryan).
Viewing was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Woodruff Church of Jesus Christ of Latter (7791 Woodruff Rd, Holbrook, AZ 86025). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Woodruff LDS Chapel (7791 Woodruff Rd, Holbrook, AZ 86025).
