We are sad to announce that on September 30, 2021, at the age of 68, Albert Contreras (Phoenix, Arizona) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his significant other Laura; his daughters, Lori Walfoort (Mike Walfoort) and Jennifer DiPonzio (Nick DiPonzio); his grandchildren, Gabriel, Nicholas, Connor, Reese, Emily, Andie and Max; and his friend Disney. He is also survived by 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to The 100 Club of Arizona or The Foundation of Retired Police Officers in honor of Al Contreras.

When Jay Yahner and I bought a honda shadow to share as we were neighbors and cheap Al liked to kid us about who was riding bitch....I miss him already...stay strong love Jim and Dee Anna Brown”
