He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dewey Irving and Bertha Irving (Lockwood); his wife Josephine Irving (Burdette); his children, Reuben Irving, Isidra Russell (Delvis), Marla Taylor (Rydell) and Darla Burdette; his goddaughters, Eva Martinez and Mary Natsyn; and his siblings, George Irving, Sr. (Barbara), Peggy Massey (Kirk), Betty Irving, Rachel Moody and Beverly Irving. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
