She is survived by: her children, Doug Sublett, Robyn Halprein and Aaron Sublett; her children-in-law, Kristin Sublett, Scott Halprein and Donna Sublett; her grandchildren, Jax Sublett, Grayson Sublett, Connor Havre, Kira Havre and Nicole Serfontein; her great grandchildren, Hunter and Quinn Serfontein; her siblings, Richard Bowers and Betty Boring; and her pet Kylo.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Wounded Warrior Project in her memory, two causes that were close to her heart.
