She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Awad Al-Akel, Odeh Al-Akel (Nilli), Adel Al-Akel (Elizabeth), Naramon Nuko (Nassar), Karamon Al-Akel, Manel Qagish (Hani) and Mysoon Sayeigh (Nizar); and her husband George Tanous Al-Akel. She was also cherished by sixteen grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
