He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Young and Dolores Young. He is survived by: his wife Laura Young; and his sons, Christopher (Tracie) and Brett (Katie). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Arizona Humane Society.
