We are sad to announce that on May 31, 2019, at the age of 84, Shirley Arthur Lanier (Peoria, Arizona), born in Altavista, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rucker J. Arthur, Sr. and Lola Frazier Arthur; her brother William Oliver Arthur; and her niece Leslie Lanier. She is survived by: her husband Ralph Lanier of Arizona; her daughters, Susan Lanier-Graham (William Graham) of Texas and Catherine Lanier of Oregon; her grandson Patrick Graham (Kamilla Graham); and her great grandchildren, Nathan, John, Zoe, Morgan and William. She is also survived by nine sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of the Valley, which provided heartfelt extended end-of-life care.
