She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Ellsworth Faris Jr. and Elsie Hortense Faris; her husband Charlie Dawson; and her siblings, Arthur, Harold, Leonard, Adam, Ed, Jim, Bryce Faris, Marie Tatum, Roberta Neff and Beth Granaman.

She is survived by: her children, Rick, Dave, Steve (Mary Bowe) and Debbie Dawson (Tom Gilchrist); her siblings, George Faris and Neva Jones; her grandchildren, John Gilchrist, Sarah Snyder, Benjamin Gilchrist, Emma Gilchrist, Marty Bowe and Sadie Dawson; and her great grandchildren, Lottie Snyder, Lily Snyder, Teddy Snyder, Arthur Gilchrist, Charlie Gilchrist, Juliet Gilchrist and Harper Bowe.
