He was predeceased by: his father Walter; his wife Dorothy; and his grandson Daniel. He is survived by: his children, Bruce (Helen), Susan (Mark), Jane and Nancy (Primo). He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Benevilla in Surprise, Arizona.
