He was predeceased by: his parents, Marilyn "Honey" MacKenzie and Alfiero "Fred" Stella; his adoptive father Harris "Bud" MacKenzie; and his half-brother Mark Stella. He is survived by: his daughter Mary Schuster (Adam); his grandsons, Benjamin and Jack; his brothers, Fred Stella (Teresa), Casey MacKenzie and Jamie "Jack" MacKenzie (Nora); and his nieces, Madison and Margaret. He is also survived by daughter, but also a son-in-law and two grandsons.
