Duane Ardell Orr Obituary
Duane Ardell Orr, 90, passed peacefully on Saturday, April 1, 2023, in Peoria, AZ. He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Russell Orr, his mother, Margery Lorena Addison, his younger sister, Dee Ora Lee Keller, son, Daniel Damon Orr, and his grandsons, Colin Michael Abraham and Milo Dallin Myers. He is survived by his wife, Maria Guadalupe Orr, nee Fabela, his brothers, Veldon (Janet) of Rapid City, SD, Dean (Mary) of Lee Summit, MO, Doyle Jay Orr of Maricopa, AZ, and Larry L. Orr (Kathleen) of Bethesda, MD. His surviving children include Duane David (Helen), Dale Allen (Teri), Dianne Elizabeth, Darla Janette Hawks (Jim), Dean Edward (Deborah), Delyn Garrison (Brent), Dayna Abraham (Michael), Dawn April Foutz (Jeff), Debra Ann Orr, and Daniel’s widow, Heather. Duane and Lupe have 34 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 11922 W. Happy Valley Rd., Peoria, AZ, at 11:00AM. (The family will receive visitors from 10:00-10:50.) Internment and military honors will be rendered at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 1, 2023, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ.
