He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Daniel DeMaio and Catherine DeMaio; his siblings, Timmy and Debbie; his son Danny Jr.; his wife Eileen Healy; his daughter Nicole; and his granddaughter Gwyneth.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the First Responders Children's Foundation.
