He is survived by: his wife Harriet Lane of Wallingford, CT; his children, Patricia Edwards (Glen), Barbara O'Neal (Ed), Jeffery Cowles and Debra Wright; and his sister Shirley Cowles McChesney of Sun Lakes, AZ. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson.
